ScottMadden Announces the Return of Robert Shively as Partner

ScottMadden, Inc., a general management consulting firm, is pleased to announce the return of Robert Shively as partner, bringing with him more than 20 years of consulting experience in the energy industry.

Mr. Shively initially joined ScottMadden in 1994 and specialized in business strategy, customer-focused transformation, process improvement, and mergers and acquisitions for the utility sector. He was named partner in 1998 and served until 2001.

“It is rare that we get to welcome back a former high-performing partner as well as a friend. All of us at ScottMadden are excited to have Rob rejoin the firm, and we look forward to his considerable contributions,” said Brad Kitchens, president and CEO ofScottMadden.

Prior to rejoining ScottMadden this year, Mr. Shively served as president and CEO at Metadigm Services (2009–2013); president of SM&P Utility Resources, Inc., a division of The Laclede Group (2002–2008); and senior vice president of business and services development at Laclede (2001). Mr. Shively earned a B.A. in economics from Furman University and an M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

Apart from ScottMadden, Shively is a member of the Area Wide Protective Board of Directors and formerly served as chair of the National Utility Locating Contractors Association.
