Jonathan Harb

Jonathan Harb, a manager at ScottMadden, joined the firm in 2014. With previous IT experience in the oil and gas industry, Jonathan works across both of ScottMadden’s practice areas—corporate & shared services and energy—and is a member of the supply chain and strategy & services communities of practice. He is the lead and founder of the &Cookies program, which offers employees a fun opportunity to gather and discuss professional development topics. These conversations are centered around TED Talks and are always paired with a sweet treat! Jonathan holds a B.S. in computer engineering and an M.B.A. from LSU.

Paul Quinlan

Clean tech manager, Paul Quinlan, joined ScottMadden’s research team in 2013. In this role, Paul supports the energy practice through market research and client work. He also serves as co-lead of ScottMadden’s grid edge community of practice and board member of the Southeastern Wind Coalition, a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of the wind industry within the Southeast. Through previous experiences with the North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association and Clean Energy Durham, Paul brings environmental and sustainable energy expertise to our firm. He holds a B.S. in environmental science and anthropology from Notre Dame University and a Master of Public Policy and a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University.

Ellina Butler

Ellina Butler, a manager at ScottMadden, joined the firm in 2014, bringing prior experiences in accounting and finance and consulting experiences in IT and supply chain. At ScottMadden, Ellina works across both the energy and corporate & shared services practices. To better balance work and motherhood, Ellina transitioned much of her time to talent acquisition in 2018. While she remains involved in client work, she is primarily responsible for ScottMadden’s recruiting and hiring efforts. Prior to joining the firm, Ellina attended the University of Georgia, where she received a Master of Accountancy from the Terry College of Business.

Jonathan Aronoff

Jonathan Aronoff, a senior associate, joined ScottMadden in 2017. Since his arrival, he has worked within ScottMadden’s energy practice, an area that evoked Jonathan’s interest from day one. Jonathan is an active member of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee, connecting ScottMadden with diverse student organizations thus widening the firm’s networking and recruiting outreach. He has also been involved in the internal energy markets community of practice. Prior to joining ScottMadden, Jonathan earned a B.A. from The New School and an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School with concentrations in corporate finance, energy, and sustainability.

Kim Dao

Tony Gonzalez

Tony Gonzalez, a manager within ScottMadden’s energy practice, joined the firm in 2016 after an impressive 14-year career within the utility industry. Leveraging this experience, Tony serves on the leadership team for the firm’s Transmission & Distribution and Grid Edge Communities of Practice. Most recently, Tony worked on engagements at a top-five leading energy provider and within the Caribbean on initiatives in Aruba and his home country of Puerto Rico, where he feels strongly about giving back.

Betsy Curry

Betsy Curry is a director with ScottMadden’s corporate & shared services practice. She joined the firm in 2014 and has been an active leader and participant in the human capital management community of practice (CoP), Working Parents and Caregivers Employee Resource Group (ERG), higher education community of interest (CoI), and internal firm initiatives. Emulating traditional project work, she played an integral role in the recent restructuring of ScottMadden’s performance management and launching the firm’s new contact management system (CRM) and financial system (ERP). In addition to this involvement, Betsy is a leader in change management with an industry focus in higher education. Prior to joining ScottMadden, Betsy earned a B.S. in marketing and entrepreneurship from the University of South Carolina and an M.B.A. from the Terry School of Business at the University of Georgia.

Adithya Mathai

Adithya Mathai is a director within ScottMadden’s corporate & shared services practice. He joined the firm in 2009 and has been an active participant and leader in the human capital management and finance and accounting communities of practice. As a recent initiative, Adithya is currently spearheading a health care community of interest, which aims to develop consultants and expand industry expertise. This group has grown in thanks to his thought leadership and years of experience! Prior to joining ScottMadden, Adithya earned a B.S. in computer telecommunication engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. with honors from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Titi Ellis

Titilayo “Titi” Ellis joined ScottMadden in September 2014 as a marketing strategist. This was a new position at the firm and she quickly jumped in to develop a robust marketing plan for the coming year. Since the completion of the planning process, she has been leading key marketing initiatives for the firm and interfacing with ScottMadden’s practice areas and communities of practice to guide and support these groups with their marketing strategies. Titi shared, “Working at ScottMadden has given me the opportunity to work with people who have a deep understanding and vested interest in their client’s needs. It’s great to see partners, directors, and managers alike all working toward one common goal, and that is the long-term success of their client’s businesses.”

David Israel Mendez

David Israel Mendez joined ScottMadden in 2015 as an associate after completing his MBA at Goizueta Business School at Emory University. Within the firm, David is a member of the supply chain, human resources, and regulatory communities of practice. Outside of ScottMadden, David is a member of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA), Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), and High Museum Young Professionals.
