ScottMadden, Inc., one of North America’s leading management consulting firms specializing in energy and shared services, is pleased to name partner Kimberly Davenport as Director of Diversity & Inclusion.
Kim joined ScottMadden in 2005 and has expertise in process improvement, Lean methodology, shared services, service center design and implementation, and project management. Prior to joining ScottMadden, she worked nearly five years as a Lean coordinator for The Gillette Company in its Duracell Batteries Division. During her 10-year tenure at Gillette, Kim held a variety of positions, including mechanical engineer, quality engineer, and production manager.
Kim leads ScottMadden’s Diversity & Inclusion Team, which seeks to build a culture where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and respected. This is at the core of ScottMadden’s business and values, from the work that the firm does with its clients to the impact that its employees have in their communities. Kim will continue leading the Diversity & Inclusion Team and ensure the firm is focused on attracting, supporting, educating, and retaining a diverse workforce with a variety of thoughtful and intentional initiatives, events, and activities along the way. Diversity, including differences in backgrounds, experiences, styles, and perspectives, is critical to the firm’s success, and Kim is a natural leader committed to building and sustaining an environment that is diverse, collaborative, supportive, and fosters mutual respect and trust—internally and externally.
“We’re all committed to D&I at ScottMadden and we all take ownership, but Kim provides the passion and the direction. The considerable advancements we’ve made over the past several years would not be as great without Kim’s leadership. We are thrilled for her to step in at an even larger capacity and continue to advance our efforts,” says Brad Kitchens, president and CEO at ScottMadden.
