ScottMadden and SEPA Partner for Webinar to Share Key Lessons Learned from Executive Fact-Finding Mission in Texas

December 9, 2015

Webinar: New Lessons from the Lone Star State

ScottMadden, Inc., one of North America’s leading energy consulting firms, recently joined the Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA)  to lead a group of U.S. energy industry executives to the deregulated “energy market laboratory” of Texas. The trip focused on examining the innovative programs and offerings that are enabling solar to grow in this dynamic energy market.

ScottMadden and SEPA will join forces to conduct a webinar, “New Lessons from the Lone Star State,” on Thursday, December 10, 2015, at 2:00PM EST. This one-hour session will share key lessons learned from the trip, provide insight into the future of renewable energy in Texas, and highlight practical ideas that will work in your market.

“Innovative programs to integrate both utility scale and rooftop solar have been led by utilities in the state responding to customer needs. The deregulated Texas market provides important lessons for other regions,” said Cristin Lyons, partner and grid transformation practice leader at ScottMadden. “The blend of policy, technology, customer preferences, and market conditions in Texas is driving some really interesting outcomes,” added Marc Miller, partner and public power and electric cooperatives practice leader at ScottMadden.
