Key Performance Indicators, Energy Industry Trends, and Inventory Optimization

This conference, geared toward senior utility procurement, sourcing, and inventory management professionals from across the industry, will include insightful presentations by ScottMadden to help you improve supply chain efficiency.
Andy Flores, partner at ScottMadden, and Marc Miller and Jordan Gillis, directors at ScottMadden, will present “Industry Leading Performance – How Do You Measure Up?” During this workshop, ScottMadden will share insights and facilitate discussions among industry professionals on the establishment and use of key performance indicators for tracking internal performance as well as that of suppliers. This session will also explore approaches for managing key supplier relationships in the areas utilities care about most.
Stuart Pearman, partner and energy practice leader at ScottMadden, will present “The Energy Industry Update – A Strategic Overview.” This session will offer perspective on recent significant events and emerging trends in the energy industry including distributed generation, EPA’s Clean Power Plan, the polar vortex, and natural gas fracking.
Additionally, Mr. Flores will serve as a panelist for the session, “Inventory Optimization – Improving Service to Operations and Maintenance While Reducing Costs.” This session will examine energy supply (generation) versus energy delivery (T&D) differences, improving service levels, eliminating waste without risk to service levels, building a collaborative relationship with Operations and Maintenance groups, and establishing objective, consistent, and sustainable business practices. Also on the panel will be Chris Trump of FirstEnergy; Bill Belgum of Nebraska Public Power District; Ian McCulloch of Duke Energy; and Laura Green of Southern Company. Steve Sotwick of Oniqua Intelligent MRO will serve as moderator.
