ScottMadden, Inc., a general management consulting firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of Sean Lawrie to partner. Mr.Lawrie has been with ScottMadden since 2005 and a director since 2011.
Mr. Lawrie has more than 10 years of consulting experience, specializing in operational improvement, process redesign, business planning, change management, and organizational design and restructuring.
“Sean lit up the room on his first day at ScottMadden. His drive and enthusiasm have continued ever since,” says Brad Kitchens, president and CEO of ScottMadden. “He brings this energy level to all of his clients and that’s why he’s been so successful. I’m certain he’ll be equally successful as a partner with our firm.”
Mr. Lawrie has assisted North America’s largest electric utilities in aligning their operations with their strategic vision. Mr. Lawrie’srecent assignments include implementing an industry leading radiological emergency response program, managing the regulatory turnaround of a large nuclear plant, and managing the cost reduction effort for a major North American electric utility.
Prior to joining ScottMadden, Mr. Lawrie worked within Energy Equipment financing and procurement with General Electric Canada. He also worked at Bruce Power in Kincardine, Ontario, Canada, as the executive assistant to a station vice president. Mr. Lawrie received an M.B.A. from the Babcock Graduate School of Management at Wake Forest University, where he was a Cooper Cass Scholar, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Guelph.
