ScottMadden, Inc., one of North America’s leading energy consulting firms, will join industry leaders as a speaker at a discussion that is co-located with the Winter National Meeting of Utility Regulators being held February 12–15, 2017, in Washington, DC.
Cristin Lyons, partner and grid transformation practice leader at ScottMadden, will participate as a speaker in Smart Electric Power Association’s (SEPA) “51st State Lunch Discussion.” During this session, Ms. Lyons will explore the approaches California and New York are taking to integrate distributed energy resources (DERs). Additional panelists will include Caroline Choi, senior vice president of regulatory affairs at Southern California Edison, and Gregg Sayre, commissioner of the New York State Public Commission.
“New York and California are leading the way in the integration of DERs. They are providing valuable lessons learned for states just starting this journey,” said Ms. Lyons.
